Cookie Policy

Which cookies and browser storage Feetify.co uses, why, for how long — and how to change your choice at any time.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Feetify.co (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, on feetify.co (the “Site”). Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.

The short version

  • We use very few cookies. For ordinary visitors, the only cookies we may set are Google Analytics cookies — and only if Google Analytics is enabled and you click “Accept”.
  • We save two small items in your browser’s local storage to remember your age confirmation and cookie choice.
  • Our Vercel analytics and performance monitoring are cookieless.
  • We don’t use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies.

What are cookies and local storage?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They are sent back to the website on later requests — for example, to keep you signed in or to measure how a site is used. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website save small pieces of information on your device. Unlike cookies, local storage is not automatically sent to the website’s server.

Some cookies last only until you close your browser (“session” cookies); others remain for a set period (“persistent” cookies). Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting or by a service it uses, such as an analytics provider.

Strictly necessary storage

Strictly necessary items make the Site work as intended — keeping it adults-only and remembering your privacy choice. They don’t track you and don’t require your consent. If you block or clear them, the Site still works, but you’ll be asked to confirm your age (and, if Google Analytics is enabled, to make a cookie choice) again.

Analytics cookies and Google Consent Mode

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the Site — for example, which guides are most useful and how often visitors click through to the Feetify platform. Google Analytics is optional, and the cookie banner only appears when Google Analytics is enabled. If you don’t see a banner, Google Analytics isn’t running and no analytics cookies are set.

When Google Analytics is enabled, we use Google Consent Mode v2, with analytics and advertising storage set to “denied” by default:

  • Before you choose, or if you click “Decline”, no Google Analytics cookies are set or read. Google may receive limited, cookieless signals (such as a timestamp, the page address and basic browser information) that do not include an identifier stored on your device.
  • If you click “Accept”, Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies to measure your visits. We request IP anonymisation, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
  • We use Google Analytics for measurement only — we do not run advertising on this Site.

Although Google Analytics cookies are stored under our domain, they are set and used by Google’s service. To learn how Google uses this data, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights

Our hosting provider, Vercel, provides privacy-friendly analytics and performance monitoring. These tools collect aggregated data — such as page views, referrers, approximate country, browser, device type and page-load performance — without setting cookies or storing anything on your device, and they do not track you across other websites. Because they don’t store or read identifiers on your device, they are not covered by the cookie banner.

The Site has a private admin area used only by the site owner to manage blog content and read contact messages. When the owner signs in, a strictly necessary feetify_admin cookie keeps them signed in for up to 7 days. It is httpOnly (so it can’t be read by scripts on the page), is never set for ordinary visitors and is not used for tracking.

Cookies on other websites

When you follow a link from this Site to the Feetify platform (app.feetfinder.com) or any other website, that website may set its own cookies — including cookies its affiliate program uses to credit referrals. Those cookies are controlled by the other website and covered by its own cookie and privacy policies, not this one. Some blog articles may also include embedded content (such as videos) from third-party websites, which may set their own cookies when the content loads or plays.

How to change your choice or control cookies

The cookie banner appears once — when Google Analytics is enabled and you haven’t made a choice yet. Your choice is saved in your browser, so to change your mind later:

  1. Clear this Site’s data in your browser — usually under Settings › Privacy (or Privacy & security) › Cookies and site data. This removes our local storage items and any Google Analytics cookies.
  2. Reload the Site. The cookie banner will appear again (if Google Analytics is enabled) and you can choose “Accept” or “Decline”. You’ll also be asked to confirm your age again.

You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, browse in a private window, or block cookies from specific websites. Your browser’s help pages explain how: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge. If you block local storage entirely, the age confirmation will appear on every visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we change the tools we use or if the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
