How to Sell Feet Pics Anonymously: A Privacy Checklist

Practical steps to stay anonymous while selling feet pics: a separate persona, hidden identifiers, metadata removal, watermarks, on-platform payments and scam red flags.

Plenty of people would like to sell feet pics but worry about being recognised by friends, family, colleagues or anyone else. That concern is sensible, and it is worth taking seriously from day one. The good news is that feet are one of the easier subjects to keep anonymous, as long as you are careful about everything else that appears in, or is attached to, your photos.

This guide covers the practical steps: building a creator persona, separating your accounts, keeping identifying details out of frame, removing hidden metadata, watermarking, keeping payments and chat on the platform, spotting scams, and understanding what verification does and does not reveal. There is a checklist at the end you can run through before every upload.

Separate Your Creator Identity From Your Real One

Create a Creator Persona

Your creator persona is the name and personality buyers see. Choose a creator name that has nothing to do with your real name, nicknames, birthday, hometown or any username you already use. Avoid recycling a handle from social media or gaming accounts, because a quick search could connect the two.

Keep your persona friendly and consistent, but vague about real-life details. Do not mention your city, workplace, school or daily routine, and avoid sharing stories that could narrow down who you are. On Feetify, your public profile shows only your creator name, so the persona is all buyers ever see.

Use a Separate Email and Phone Number

Keeping your creator life separate from your personal accounts is one of the most effective privacy habits you can build.

  • Dedicated email: create a new email address used only for selling, without your real name in it.
  • Separate phone number where possible: if anything requires a number, consider a second number so your personal one stays private.
  • Strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication: protect your creator email so nobody can take it over.
  • A separate browser profile: keeping creator accounts in their own profile reduces the chance of posting from the wrong account or mixing up logins.

Hide Identifying Details in Every Photo

Most accidental identification comes from details people never thought to check. Review every photo with fresh eyes before it goes live.

Your Body

Faces are the obvious one, but they are far from the only identifier. Think about distinctive tattoos, birthmarks, scars and moles, unusual nail art you also wear in public, and jewellery such as anklets or toe rings that friends would recognise. Keep them out of frame, cover them, or keep them out of your creator content altogether.

Your Surroundings

Backgrounds can give away a surprising amount: a recognisable sofa or rug, artwork, the view from a window, letters or parcels with your address, branded items from your workplace, or framed photos on the wall. Shoot against plain sheets, blankets or neutral surfaces, and check the edges and corners of every frame.

Reflections

Mirrors, windows, glasses, dark TV and phone screens, glossy floors and even water can reflect your face or your room. Zoom in on every photo before uploading to make sure nothing is hiding in a reflection.

Remove EXIF and GPS Metadata Before Uploading

Most digital photos carry hidden information called EXIF metadata. Depending on your settings, it can include the date and time, your phone model and, most importantly, the GPS location where the photo was taken. If you shoot at home, that location could point straight to your address.

On iPhone

In your privacy and location services settings, you can set the Camera app's location access to never, so new photos are not tagged with where they were taken. When sharing a photo from the Photos app, the share screen also has an options menu where you can switch off location before it is sent. Exact menu names vary between iOS versions, so look for location settings under Privacy if things look different on your phone.

On Android

Open your camera app's settings and turn off the option to save or tag location, often labelled something like location tags or save location. Many gallery apps, including Google Photos, also let you open a photo's details and remove its location. Because Android phones differ by manufacturer, the wording may vary slightly on your device.

Double-Check Older Photos

Turning location off only affects new photos, so pictures you took earlier may still contain GPS data. Check a photo's info panel to confirm the location is gone, or use a reputable metadata removal tool before uploading. Make this part of your routine for every single upload.

Stop Your Photos Being Traced or Reposted

Reverse image search tools let anyone upload a photo and find where else it, or similar images, appear online. That means any photo you have posted elsewhere, such as on a personal social media account, could be matched to your creator content. To reduce the risk:

  • Never reuse photos from your personal accounts as creator content, or the other way round.
  • Shoot creator content separately, in a different setting from anything you post personally.
  • Avoid posting similar feet photos on personal profiles while you are selling.

Watermark Your Content

A small, semi-transparent watermark showing your creator name, never your real name, discourages people from reposting your photos and makes it clear the content is yours. Place it somewhere that is hard to crop out without spoiling the photo, but keep it subtle enough that it does not distract from the image. Using the same watermark across all your work also gives your profile a consistent, professional look.

Keep Payments and Chat on the Platform

One of the biggest advantages of selling through a marketplace is that buyers never need your personal details. Buyers pay through trusted methods such as PayPal, and Premium members can use a cryptocurrency option for added privacy. Live chat happens inside Feetify, so there is no need to share a phone number, personal email or social media handle.

If a buyer asks to continue the conversation on another app, politely decline. Moving off the platform exposes your personal accounts and removes the record of what was agreed. You can read more about how Feetify approaches creator protection on the safety page.

Scam Red Flags to Watch For

Most buyers are genuine, but it pays to recognise the common warning signs:

  • Overpayment: someone claims to have sent too much and asks you to refund the difference. The original payment often turns out to be fake or reversed.
  • Pay first requests: anyone asking you to pay a fee to receive money, unlock earnings or verify your account.
  • Gift cards: requests to pay or be paid in gift cards are a classic scam pattern.
  • Moving to other apps: pressure to switch to a messaging app, email or social media, especially before any purchase.
  • Personal questions: requests for your real name, location, face photos or personal social accounts.
  • Urgency and pressure: deals that must happen right now, or any form of threat.

If something feels off, stop engaging and never send money or personal information. Our guide on how to price feet pics also explains why off-platform deals are rarely as good as they sound.

What Verification Means for Your Privacy

Feetify verifies identity and age for both buyers and sellers. Some new creators worry this means buyers will see their real details. They will not: ID verification happens privately in the background to keep the marketplace adults-only and safe, while buyers only ever see your creator name. Verification on the buyer side also means you are dealing with verified adults rather than completely anonymous strangers. The how it works page and our FAQ explain the process in more detail.

Your Anonymous Selling Checklist

Run through this list before you publish anything:

  • Creator name unrelated to your real name or existing usernames
  • Dedicated email, and a separate phone number where possible
  • Strong passwords and two-factor authentication on creator accounts
  • No face, tattoos, birthmarks, scars or recognisable jewellery in frame
  • Plain background with no post, personal items or recognisable rooms
  • Every photo checked for reflections in mirrors, screens, windows and glossy surfaces
  • Camera location tagging switched off
  • EXIF and GPS metadata removed and double-checked
  • No photos reused from, or similar to, your personal social media
  • Subtle watermark showing your creator name
  • All chat and payments kept on Feetify
  • No gift cards, upfront fees or overpayment refunds, ever

Selling anonymously is very achievable with a few consistent habits. Most risks come from small oversights, so a quick check before every upload goes a long way. If you are still working on the photography side, our guide to taking feet pics that sell pairs well with this checklist. When you are ready, you can create your free Feetify account under a creator name and start building your profile privately.
